Place each sound on the valence/arousal circumplex. Your ratings help train the next model. Data is anonymous.
This task uses Russell's (1980) Circumplex Model of Affect to measure emotional response. Valence is the hedonic quality of a sound — how pleasant or unpleasant it feels (x-axis, left = negative, right = positive). Arousal is its activation level — how calm or energized it makes you feel (y-axis, bottom = calm, top = activated). Together they place any emotional response in a continuous two-dimensional space. Click or drag the dot to your position.
Your ratings have been submitted and will contribute to the next training round.
